Spa Classic
Spa-Francorchamps is one of the great race tracks, and since it was revised to a shorter layout in 1979, the winding Eifel circuit has remained relatively unchanged – making it an appropriate venue for historic racing, with many of the cars competing on a layout very much like the one they’d have experienced in period. Some are older of course – the Spa Classic plays host to racers from the 60s and 70s too – but the track is still a challenge for any vehicle. More than 400 cars and many more drivers are expected to take part this year, with qualification during most of Friday and on Saturday morning, and then the bulk of the racing taking place on Saturday afternoon and Sunday. The Spa Classic runs from May 22-24, with Friday ticketing starting at €25, Saturday at €40 and Sunday at €35.
