Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este

Villa d’Este is one of the giants of the annual concours scene, held at the famous villa on the banks of Lake Como. It’s modest in size, hosting around fifty vehicles, but the cars are a who’s-who of the classic and vintage car scenes, and as the event has been supported by BMW since 2005, it’s also been a place to see wheeled sculptures from some of the German marque’s most talented designers. There are awards for concepts and prototypes, best in show, and a public vote too. The 2026 Concorso runs from the 15-17th May, and entry isn’t as expensive as you might expect, with general admission starting at €15.50.
