NEC Classic Motor Show
The Classic Motor Show at the NEC always feels like a last hurrah for the motoring season thanks to its November slot – one final opportunity to enjoy cars before lousy weather seals them away in garages for the next four or five months. This year’s show opens on the 13th of November and runs for the usual three days, with more than 3000 cars on display from hundreds of clubs, as well as trade stands, car dealers, and a 500-vehicle strong auction hosted by Iconic. There’s usually the opportunity to watch on-stage interviews with well-known personalities and experts from the classic scene too. A day ticket costs £35.50, but be sure to factor in parking – £13.95 in advance or £18.95 on the day. You can save some money there by parking at one of the stations connected to the airport station, and getting the train in.
